Dizziness Center
SNUBH Dizziness Center founded in July 2017 is the most authoritative and comprehensive care unit for dizziness and accompanying symptoms in Korea. The Dizziness Center consists of neurology, otorhinolaryngology, and psychiatry, and offers a patient-friendly symptom-based approach, precise diagnosis, and brand-new treatments.
The center provides treatments for the diverse spectrum of neurological and inner ear disorders, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis, vestibular migraine, Meniere’s disease, vascular dizziness and vertigo, other dizziness and vertigo due to brain disorders, persistent perceptual postural dizziness, tinnitus, and hearing loss. The Dizziness Center also allows patients suffering from acute vertigo for emergent care through a hotline. More than 26 thousand patients visit our out-patient clinic every year.
Our center is equipped with cutting-edge technology for the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and vertigo, including 3-dimensional video-oculography, 3-dimensional rotational chair, bithermal caloric test, posturography, and ocular and cervical vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials. The dedicated and renowned specialists in SNUBH Dizziness Center have published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in the internationally recognized journals annually, and have given lectures at the international conferences, seminars, symposiums and workshops.
